Our policies

Delivery & pick-up

We deliver across Egypt. Cairo and Giza usually arrive in 1–3 working days after your dress is ready; other governorates in 3–5. The delivery fee depends on your area and we confirm it on WhatsApp before shipping.

You can also collect your order from the atelier — we’ll message you when it’s ready.

Ready-size dresses are prepared in 7–14 days. Custom-measurement dresses take 2–3 weeks. Tell us your event date in the order notes and we’ll plan around it.

Exchanges

Because each dress is made by hand, we don’t offer cash refunds once production has started. If your ready-size dress doesn’t fit, contact us within 3 days of receiving it: we’ll alter it or exchange it for another size, as long as it’s unworn, unwashed and has its tags.

Custom-measurement dresses can’t be exchanged, but we’ll make reasonable alterations free of charge within 14 days.

If anything arrives damaged, send us photos on WhatsApp within 24 hours and we’ll make it right.

Rental terms

1. Rental period. You receive the dress the day before your event and return it the day after (3 days in total unless the dress page says otherwise).
2. Payment. The rental fee and the refundable deposit are both paid when you book. Your booking is confirmed once we’ve verified the transfer.
3. Deposit. Returned in full within 3 days of the dress coming back in the condition it left, by the same method you paid.
4. Cleaning. Included. Please don’t wash, iron or alter the dress yourself.
5. Damage. Normal wear is expected. Tears, burns, permanent stains, or missing parts may be deducted from the deposit according to the repair cost. We send you photos before deducting anything.
6. Late return. Late returns without notice are charged a daily late fee, deducted from the deposit.
7. Cancellation. Full refund if you cancel 7 days or more before your event. Within 7 days, we’ll move your booking to another date instead.
8. Fitting. Small reversible adjustments are free. Permanent alterations aren’t allowed on rental dresses.

Custom orders

For a custom size or design we take a 50% deposit to start, and the rest before delivery. We share progress photos and you get one fitting included.

Privacy

We collect only what we need to make and deliver your order: your name, WhatsApp number, email if you give it, delivery address, and your payment screenshot.

This information is visible only to Elysé Hafez, stored securely with our database provider (Supabase), and never sold or shared, except with the courier who delivers your order.

Your bag, saved dresses and contact details for faster checkout are stored in your own browser. To ask us to delete your data, message us on WhatsApp or email elysehaafez@gmail.com.
